About the Role
Job Summary Statement: The primary job responsibility of the Vice President of NIL Relations is to cultivate partnerships with collegiate athletes through development of NIL educational programs and creation of NIL Marketing initiatives. The Vice President of NIL will work closely with internal teams in both Marketing and Acquisitions and externally with partners including establishing relationships with college/university collectives. The ideal candidate would have experience working in the NIL space through an agency or within an athletic department. The Vice President of NIL Relations will have strong understanding of NIL compliance guidelines to develop programs that support NIL athletes.
In addition, the VIP of NIL Relations will generate and qualify leads, develop pitch presentations, and coordinate with other departments to ensure we source and hit manufacturing timelines to ensure on-time delivery to partners.
Ability to work with client partners and athletes, as well as internal and external resources to execute NIL marketing/acquisitions initiatives. Be a key contributor to the Panini Marketing/Acquisitions Team working to support key Panini events and initiatives. Demonstrated leadership, developing innovative initiatives in collaboration with Panini Marketing and Acquisitions are keys to success in this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop NIL education program focusing on helping athletes understand the sports collectibles and trading card category.
Partner with college and university collectives.
Develop, implement, and manage NIL marketing/acquisitions.
Attend NIL/Athletic conferences to exhibit and create partnerships.
Create/Develop and have the ability to present NIL presentations to current and potential clients.
Project Management.
Ability to work across multiple departments (marketing, acquisitions, product development)
Ability to maintain deadlines.
Client-facing ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain partner relationships.
Travel for partner pitches, meetings and activations.
Develop annual post NIL recap/analysis demonstrating reach, ROI, etc.
