Role Overview

Fanatics is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join the Company’s Global Legal Team as Senior Corporate Counsel, Commercial Transactions. This role will provide strategic legal support with respect to commercial transactions and global operations.

Responsibilities:
Draft, review and negotiate a broad variety of commercial agreements in support of the Company’s global operations, ranging from the day-to-day/routine to highly complex transactions, including supply contracts, technology and software related agreements, services agreements, intellectual property licenses and real estate leases;
Serve as primary point of contact/have primary responsibility for providing legal and contract support for global operations and procurement related matter, including serving as liaison with procurement leaders on status of agreements and other members of the Global Legal Team, as needed;
Partner with subject matter experts from across the Company, including information security, privacy, finance and tax in support of negotiations and review of commercial transactions;
Support the development of vendor contract templates, participate in and develop training on the use of such templates, and update templates to reflect changes in Company policies and best practices
Interpret and advise with respect to rights and obligations under the Company’s operations and commercial agreements;
Monitor applicable laws, rules and regulations, as well as industry standards, and advise clients and other members of the Global Legal Team with respect to relevant changes and trends;
Manage/oversee the handling of any disputes, conflicts and/or litigation that may arise from time to time with respect to the Company’s operations and procurement related contracts;
Assist with diligence of the Company’s operations and procurement related contracts as may be necessary from time to time;
Collaborate with other members of the Global Legal Team, including with respect to issues requiring subject matter expertise, and oversee/leverage outside counsel, as needed.
