Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a stellar midlevel associate to join its rapidly growing Technology Transactions & Privacy practice and Digital Media & Entertainment, Gaming and Sports group in its New York office. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of intellectual property law, 3 - 5 years of drafting and negotiation experience across a wide variety of media/entertainment/technology -focused transactions, and a firm understanding of music, sports, film, or TV production, development, licensing, or distribution. The role will involve working on a variety of matters including:

licensing of music, sports, film, TV, and other media and entertainment content for transmitting, streaming, or downloading through traditional distribution channels and via digital, online, and gaming platforms, channels, and apps
drafting and implementing terms of service and privacy and social media policies and guidelines, and advising on copyright, trademark, right of publicity and other IP issues in connection with websites, blogs, social media platforms, mobile applications, and digital products and services
counseling on matters relating to social media, mobile apps, cloud computing, AI, big data analytics, smart contracts, NFTs, blockchain, and other emerging technologies
counseling on online liability issues, developing risk-reduction strategies, and providing product counseling and other benchmarking and strategic advice across a variety of interactive products and services
