ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Trademark clearance and prosecution global but with particular focus on the US
Supervise U.S. and foreign outside counsel in connection with strategy and management of all aspects of IP proceedings and litigations
Negotiate, draft and/or supervise negotiation and preparation of various types of agreements
Draft and negotiate cease and desist letters and other correspondence relating to infringement of intellectual property and handle resolution of these matters
Maintaining records for trademark renewal and maintenance
Review licensee submissions for broad range of intellectual property issues and counsel internal departments on proper trademark use
Participate in special projects, as needed
