THE SPORTS LAW INTERSECTION
About the Role
Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and monitoring legislation that impacts the company’s products and/or processes.
Updating leadership with timely analysis and summaries of new legislation/regulations affecting the business.
Responsible for support related to litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints.
Renewing and maintaining company licensing.
Drafting, filing, and managing various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs and partnerships with agencies.
Perform wide variety of legal research and data compilation.
Prepare affidavits or documents and maintain document files.
Review and ensure compliance with regulations.
Liaise between in-house attorneys, outside counsel, organizations, and in-house employees.
Assist in Company’s intellectual property enforcement practices, including, but not limited to, documenting infringement, preparing cease and desist letters and other record keeping practices regarding the same.
Review and distribute correspondence related to legal actions and matters, and perform clerical duties, including scanning, copying and distributing department documents and mailings.
Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
