About the Role
The Talent Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of talent marketing leadership, agents, clients and client service team members with a focus on NIL (NCAA & high school where states allow) talent sales & marketing, recruiting and client management. This includes sales, branding, accounts receivable, PR, charitable endeavors, and social media management. Participation in new business development efforts such as prospecting sales leads and marketing material development. Manage all barter and trade relationships related to our talent roster.
Roles And Responsibilities:
Work with talent marketing leadership and agents to identify talent priorities to generate partnership revenue across the NIL roster
Develop a local sales strategy and outreach plan in markets where Wasserman athletes play /live
Manage all gifting, barter and trade partnerships related to the NIL roster
Support senior talent marketing leadership related to prospecting, outreach, industry research and sales materials
Perform networking, research and solicit new business; create a target list of potential companies that may be interested in partnering with clients; make outbound sales calls; establish relationships that lead to endorsement deals
Work with Wasserman legal and client school compliance departments to ensure client and brand partners are adhering to all NIL rules
Stay up to date on evolving NIL regulations across states, conferences and schools
Support agents with NIL recruiting and day-to-day management efforts of NIL clients
Participate in communication across all talent verticals which include team sports, global football, action sports and music
Develop an understanding for the memorabilia/trading card business and eventually generate revenue in these areas
Update marketing material and create brand pitches as needed
Follow trends and industry news that can provide perspective when managing sales outreach
Meet both personal and department annual sales goals set by talent marketing leadership
Contribute to partnership development across all other talent verticals
