About the Role
Major Responsibility:
Support league and team basketball operations, including player contract administration, salary cap enforcement, player trades, player/team employee discipline and international clearances
Support league governance, including intercompany agreements, management of committees, investor support, and corporate minutes
Provide overall support for the collective bargaining process with the Women's National Basketball Players Association and Basketball Players Union, along with general CBA compliance and enforcement
Advise teams on league rules and policies, including the drafting of memos and other communications Negotiate, draft, and administer certain league commercial agreements
Develop and oversee health and safety protocols for players and team staff
Contribute to WNBA and NBA G League strategy, development, and execution
Perform special projects and other assignments as requested by WNBA and G League senior management

About the Company
This position will report to the General Counsel of the WNBA and NBA G League, with a primary focus (approximately 75%) on the WNBA.
The position will be responsible for a variety of matters, including supporting the league office with respect to collective bargaining and governance issues, commercial relationships, and advising teams on compliance with league rules relating to game operations, player matters and local team commercial relationships.
