About the Role
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide interpretations, education, and advice regarding the application of NCAA and Big Ten Conference rules and policies
Assist member institutions in determining whether a rule has been violated, and if so, providing advice on reporting and corrective action
Advise institutions seeking to waive NCAA and/or Big Ten Conference rules
Coordinate the processing of medical waivers by the Big Ten Sports Medicine Subcommittee
Provide oversight of the Conference’s responsibilities related to the national letter of intent
Collaborate with counterparts at NCAA and other conferences to ensure best practices for the Conference and its member institutions
Plan and execute Conference-led meetings for the Big Ten Compliance Coordinators
Foster a culture of inclusion to support a diverse environment
