About the Role
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment (“HBSE”) Legal Internship program is an 8-week, part-time paid internship program that provides a balance of real-world work experience in the sports and entertainment field and structured educational sessions with industry leaders. Interns will meaningfully contribute to our efforts to be the world’s most impactful sports and entertainment company in the world. Interns will participate in training programs, events and activities designed to broaden their knowledge of the industry. The Internship Program is scheduled to start on May 23rd and ends July 21st with a week off the week of July 4th.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Contract drafting and review
Read and analyze complex documents
Legal research and writing
Drafting of legal memoranda
Review and indexing of filing and records
Attend weekly team meetings; company-wide meetings and other meetings as scheduled
Participate in day one orientation, which acclimates interns to their work environment, and sets HBSE expectations
Attend HBSE training programs and weekly lunch and learns hosted by internal experts, as well as events and activities designed to broaden knowledge of our operations and the industry at large
Attend coaching sessions outside their department to aid in further relationships being formed
Participation in a community service event
